Freshly roasted Sumatra coffee beans are infused in spirit alcohol distilled in Elgin to create our strong, sweetly addictive, delicious Coffee Liqueur. If you enjoy a strong espresso coffee or a cocktail designed to wake you up, this is your drink. This unique tasting drink is phenomenal!
How is it best drunk?
Our experiments are ongoing as I type, however, our new Coffee Liqueur is magical as a digestif after a big dinner. It can be mixed with our Seville Orange Gin 26% to create our Tilting Bucket Cocktail which is sublime but has yet to be named and it is fabulous drizzled over ice cream.
If you enjoy an Espresso Martini, then try our version call the Elgin Espresso Martini using our Chocolate & Coffee Cream Liqueur 17% and Navy Strength Scottish White Rum 57%. It is a cracker!
There are many other ways to enjoy this drink, so we urge you to experiment with this new monster in our drinks cabinet immediately, and let us know what you think?
How is this made?
On looking for a new producer for our Rhubarb Liqueur, we stumbled on a talented new producer in Elgin, Moray. Jill Brown has mastered the art of making delicious and award winning drinks and is happy to experiment to find success.
With Jill's own small batch distilled Spirit Ethanol she has infused freshly ground Sumatra coffee beans from her local coffee roaster, Cairngorm Leaf & Bean near Aviemore, to produce this majestical, strong flavoured and unique drink.
