How is it best drunk?
Our Grapefruitcello can be drunk before or after an evening meal or similar to our Limoncello Liqueur, it can also be enjoyed with a strong mid morning coffee. How is this made?
Our Grapefruitcello is made for us by the talented Hilary Blackford in Gloucestershire. 8 months of development work were required to create this masterpiece, a perfect balance of bitter sweet. The idea for a Grapefruitcello came from fond memories of our original Grapefruit Vodka Liqueur which was first made for us in 2009 by Iain and Rosemary Mills. Hilary used her Limoncello Liqueur making skills to redevelop our old drink and produce a clever new version using fresh fruit and spirit alcohol. The drink of Limoncello originated in Southern Italy where lemons are plentiful and pure alcohol was freely available from a local chemist to make it. As far a we know this is the only Grapefruitcello to exist.
