Our Gooseberry Gin Liqueur has been constantly developed and refined to get to its current level of quality. Smooth and fruity, this is an exceptional Summer drink with an exciting burst of gooseberry. Gooseberries may not be everybody's cup of tea, but there is something original about this Gooseberry Gin which makes it positively irresistible. We have bottled it here in our charming Apotheker 40ml bottle which is a good size for use as a miniature or wedding favour.
How is it best drunk?
Our Gooseberry Gin Liqueur is delicious when chilled or served long with tonic, ice and a big squeeze of lemon. We call this cocktail Evoque.
How is this made?
Using an original recipe from ex Hospital Pharmacist, Rosie Sedgwick, it is now made in East Lothian for us by Robin and Derry Ford. They have managed to keep all the charm of the original drink while adding a rather cheeky twist of their own!
