What is it like to sniff and sip?

Aged in oak for at least 7 years, (cask number 574 was filled on 29 Sept 2016), this single cask, Single Islay Scotch Malt Whisky has a surprisingly smooth texture with a subtle influence of sherry from the cask, making it an exquisite dram to enjoy.

It is unapologetically Islay in style. It is beautifully smoky and peaty to taste, giving a strong hint of burnt grass and smoked meats at its finish.

Good Islay Single Malts are highly sought-after, and this one from a distillery on the North East coast of Islay, where you look across to the Paps of Jura is a true liquid gold.
