We have stocked a Scottish Raspberry Vodka Liqueur since our founding day in Edinburgh in 2004, and for very good reason. Fresh Raspberries and Vodka combine to make this a seriously delicious, irresistible drink.
Smooth and fruity, it is perfect for drinking short over ice or mixing long into any number of Vodka Cocktails. Its clever balance of fruit and spirit make it one of our most popular drinks.
How is it best drunk?
It can be drunk on its own as an aperitif, simply poured over ice, or drunk as a digestif after supper. It can be mixed with a dash of our Dry British Vermouth over ice to form a wonderful Raspberry Vodka Martini.
If you like a long, fresh cocktail then we recommend you try our Raspberry Fresh Cocktail which used fresh raspberries. There are reports that a splash of our Raspberry Vodka is being drunk merrily with Champagne, some have even used it on ice cream, experimentation is the key!
If you are brave try our Bloody Pirate Cocktail. Looking for a good pudding recipe for our Raspberry Vodka? Try our Raspberry and Lemongrass Trifle.
How is this made?
Our Raspberry Vodka Liqueur is now made for us carefully in Elgin by Jill Brown, using real Scottish Raspberries infused in her own Scottish Vodka. Her recipe is based on our original version which was created for us by our highly skilled retired PE Teachers from East Lothian, Robin and Derry Ford.
This delicious drink has always attracted attention and was first noted for excellence in 2004 as one of the top 100 liqueurs in the world by the Scotland on Sunday. It was then written up by The Telegraph Newspaper in 2009 as being the only thing to shop for while in Edinburgh. How about that!
There have been countless passionate reviews of it since and its journey continues. We therefore have it on good authority that it is worth a try!
