Our house gin, known as Demijohnnie Gin 50%, is bottled here in a beautiful cube shaped, stackable Mystic 500ml bottle.
This gin is phenomenally smooth and an excellent choice for making a cracking Gin & Tonic or for using in more complex gin cocktails.
*Please note our new Mystic 500ml bottle is now sealed with a silver aluminium screw cap rather than the pictured wood & cork stopper.
How is it best drunk?
Demijohnnie Gin is a fantastically smooth spirit gin despite its high strength of 50% abv. Based on a London Dry Gin recipe, the pungent aromatic qualities of juniper are clearly and pleasantly evident.
This gin is a wonderful spirit for gin cocktail fans who like anything from a classic G&T to a Gin Martini. Its strength of flavour means it can be served neat over ice to sip in a seriously grown up way.
If you are to drink it as a G&T we believe our Scottish Walter Gregor's Tonic offers one of the best complimentary flavours available to enhance your G&T experience.
How is this made?
Demijohnnie Gin is based on a London Gin recipe with 3 additional botanicals, coriander seed, angelica root and rubbed savoury. The result is very effective spirit gin with a citrus note.
Anything else I should know?
The Mystic 500ml stacking bottle is shaped so that it can stack with other Mystic 500ml stacking bottles to make a striking tower of cubes, such as our Seville Orange Gin and Raspberry Vodka Stacking Gift Set.
This bottle can also be enhanced by the addition of a handmade Oak wood presentation box to create a Demijohnnie Gin Gift Box, which would make an excellent wedding gift, corporate gift or Father's Day gift.
