Imagine the taste of molten butterscotch toffee sweets, now add some real, thick Devonshire Cream and finally top it off with a fine Apple Brandy........delicious!
How is it best drunk?
An amazingly smooth liqueur that is wonderful when drunk chilled on its own and outrageously good when poured generously over vanilla ice cream.
We have been experimenting with some cream liqueur cocktails. Our finest is most certainly the Elgin Espresso Martini. However our Lover's Tipple, equal measures of Butterscotch Cream Liqueur and Coffee Liqueur over ice, is a close second!
In 2012 our York Team invented the Cossack Kiss Cocktail, using our Spiced Rum. This is a simple but delightful treat of a drink.
How is this made?
This is handmade by a small team of passionate individuals in the West Country. First created by Nigel Howard, a retired banker who escaped the City in 1994 to make wine. The brandy used in this delicate fusion comes from Julian Temperley’s Burrow Hill Farm, the creator of our magnificent 10 Year Old West Country Cider Spirit 42% and Somerset Pomona 20%.
