Drinks Chest at the Scottish Game Fair
Picnics or shooting parties this summer simply wouldn’t be complete without the 2019 Demijohn Drinks Chest, made bespoke for each customer. Handmade in Cumbria, from oak with strong leather handles, it contains eight bottles of top quality hand-made small batch Demijohn liqueurs; two 500ml cube shaped bottles for the owner’s very favourite drinks and six smaller 100ml bottles in the same attractive shape. These will be available to order and buy on the Demijohn Stand in the GWCT Members Enclosure.
While you take a look at the huge array of delicious drinks, spirits, cordials and liqueurs on the Demijohn stand, treat yourself to one of their delicious artisan cocktails. Midsummer Muddle or Bloody Pirate will be mixed up specially for the customers, turning the stand into a fun cocktail bar for the Fair.
New on the stand will be Demijohn’s 25 Year Old Balsamic Vinegar. This exquisite balsamic vinegar is made by the Tagliavini family at Soliera just north of Modena. As one of the very few 25 year old true balsamic vinegars available in the UK, it is an incredible product to pour over undercut beef, parmesan cheese or even strawberries and ice cream. Its thick, syrupy texture and velvety smooth taste puts it in a class of its own. It will be launched at the Game Fair so be sure to buy some. Priced at £50/100ml.
Demijohn’s stand will contain many of the company’s favourites, including Bramble Scotch Whisky, Gooseberry Gin, Seville Orange Gin, Morello Cherry Brandy, Spiced Rum, Sloe Gin and a wide selection of oils, vinegars and cordials. Customers can come and refill their previous Demijohn bottles or choose from our wide range of bottles, ranging from 40ml to 3 litres.
Demijohn staff will even add a personalised message for free so you can buy the perfect summer gifts for friends and family.
Bespoke versions of the Drinks Chest are available with personalised engraving on both the lid or sides of the chest and on the glasses. For shoots, both the tumblers and the shot glasses can be supplied with peg numbers on the bottom. The exquisite hand craftmanship of this unique drinks cabinet ensures that your picnic will always be posher than next doors’ and also looks great displayed on a sideboard or table instantly giving a room the irresistible promise of abundant hospitality!
