Demijohn is celebrating 20 years business in 2024 with a series of major new  events in Glenlair Steading. Christmas at Demijohn follows on from the success of their inaugural music festival, Glenlair Feastival, in August and art festival, Demijohn’s Big Spring Weekend, in May.

The series of new events successfully combined both music and art with food & drink and have brought crowds to visit their new store at Glenlair Steading, which is now open for tastings, refills and is a great place to find a unique Christmas gift or two.

Christmas at Demijohn, an afternoon of festive food & drink, will take place from 4pm until 7pm on Sat 7th December. The Demijohn Store at Glenlair Steading will be open from 10am to 7pm for tastings, purchases and refills. During the event, the Demijohn Cocktail Bar will be serving up some festive cheer with warming mulled drinks and seasonal food.

To add some magical Christmas spirit, Carol singers will perform within the historic and exceedingly picturesque 19th century Glenlair Steading.

Angus Ferguson, owner of Demijohn said: “Our new store sits really well within the beautiful historic setting of Glenlair Steading and seems to be attracting quite a lot of attention as something exciting and new for Galloway. On a cold, dark evening, when the lights come on, the steading is turned into a magical space. Our hope is that local families of all generations will turn out to enjoy some Christmas cheer with us.”
