Hipflask of Aultmore 7 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Our Aultmore 7 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 62.5% contained in our hipflask shaped Outlaw 375ml bottle. This is a fine example of a unique single cask, Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Aultmore Distillery which lies about 2 miles North of Keith in the Speyside Region of Scotland. The original cask was a hogs head number 900145 filled on 3 April 2008. We have bottled it at its original cask strength of 62.5% after at least 7 years of ageing in oak.  

What is it like to sniff and sip?

If you like a herbal dram, with a subtle malty sweetness and a touch of oak, then this is it. A delicate balance of flavours make our Aultmore 7 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky a hidden gem of a drink. Despite being still young in whisky years it has matured quickly to produce a smooth and satisfying single malt to sniff and sip.

Anything else I should know?

This is the first cask of Aultmore Single Malt Scotch Whisky we have ever had the privilege to bottle. Given its quality and small amount available it is unlikely to be the last. The name "Aultmore" translates from the Gaelic "big burn" and at cask strength, 62.5%, we can say hand on heart that it is certainly living up this name! Aultmore Distillery was built in 1896 by Alexander Edward and it has passed through many hands over the years. Since 1998 it has been owned by Bacardi.
