A clever blend of butterscotch, caramel and whisky have created this deliciously smooth traditional Scottish whisky liqueur. Its surprise is that it has enough sting in its tail to appeal to a whisky drinker and yet its delicate sweetness will delight also the more nervous whisky drinker!
How is it best drunk?
Our Toffee Whisky Liqueur can be drunk as an aperitif, possibly over ice, or as a digestif after a hearty meal simply on its own. If you are out in the hills or on the golf course, it might even be a drink to warm you up. Try it splashed over ice cream for the pudding of lifetime.
We have a number of fabulous whisky cocktails that use our Toffee Whisky Liqueur, notably The Highland Fuze Cocktail. The simplest cocktail of all is to combine our Toffee Whisky Liqueur with Ginger Ale, ice and a squeeze of lime to make a long and refreshing aperitif.
How is this made?
Roy and Penny Lewis have developed many a fine drink in their time and this is no exception. Based now in Helensburgh, just North of Glasgow, this particular drink was inspired by their time in the Lake District, where sugar cane was once mixed with whisky in the Eighteenth Century to create a similar drink.
By carefully blending butterscotch, caramel and Scotch Whisky Roy and Penny have once again created a seriously smooth whisky liqueur with a Scottish twist worthy of praise.
